I first applied for the Fulbright Distinguished Award in Teaching for the 2015-2016 year, but was selected as an Alternate. Because I believe strongly in my Inquiry Project, I decided to apply for 2016-2017.
This timeline reflects both applications.

August, 2014: Work on application.
November 6, 2014: Submit application.
November 21, 2014: Notification application is complete.
February 25, 2015: Notification of status as Alternate.
February 25, 2015: Work on application.
June 4, 2015: Notification Alternate status remains unchanged.
November 3, 2015: Submit application
February 23, 2016: Notification of consideration as a finalist/phone interview scheduled.
March 4, 2016: Phone interview with U.S.-U.K. Fulbright Commission.
April 5, 2016: Notified of recommendation as a finalist; pending host university confirmation.
April 14, 2016: Notified of affiliation with Queen's University Belfast.
